The diet of your guinea pig always begins with good hay, because they need it for their metabolism. However, guinea pigs cannot get vitamin C from their food themselves.
Therefore, Metazoa FitRight Cavia contains a high content of vitamin C, along with other essential nutrients.
Exactly what is needed for a healthy and happy guinea pig.
  • As a complement to good hay
  • Pressed chunk of 3 mm
  • Can be fed unlimitedly
  • High in vitamin C - 5000 mg per kilo
  • Also for show guinea pigs

NUTRITIONAL BALANCE

Healthy teeth are essential for guinea pigs.
How big the teeth become is genetically determined.
It is a misconception that guinea pigs sharpen their teeth on, for example, a piece of wood. Gnawing on wood actually makes the teeth blunt.
Their anatomy allows guinea pigs to sharpen teeth with their own teeth.
The calcium in FitRight Guinea Pig helps to keep the teeth strong.
FitRight Guinea Pig consists mainly of the alfalfa plant, a plant which is full of protein, combined with other plant ingredients.
To this are added vitamins and minerals to meet the nutritional needs of your guinea pig.

This product contains a high level of vitamin C, a vitamin guinea pigs cannot get from food themselves. Not all guinea pigs absorb this vitamin equally well, so FitRight's high dosage ensures that every guinea pig gets enough.
Because unnecessary vitamins are washed away, your guinea pig will never have too much vitamin C.

The right nutrition has an important effect on the well-being of animals.
When your guinea pig is in nutritional balance, it gets everything it needs. This promotes a vital self-healing mechanism and thus reduces physical and mental problems.

Feeding advice

You feed Metazoa FitRight Cavia unrestricted alongside good, protein-rich hay.
The amount of leaves in the hay indicates how much protein it contains.
It should contain a lot of grass stems and be coarse, as your guinea pig needs to get most of its raw fiber.
This is important for the gastrointestinal system.
You feed about 20 to 50 grams of FitRight per day
